Plithogenic sets introduced by Smarandache (2018) have disclosed new research vistas and this paper introduces the novel concept of plithogenic cognitive maps (PCM) and its applications in decision making. The new approach of defining instantaneous state neutrosophic vector with the confinement of indeterminacy to (0,1] is proposed to quantify the degree of indeterminacy. The resultant vector is obtained by applying instantaneous state vector through the connection matrix together with plithogenic operators comprising the contradiction degrees. The connection matrix is represented as fuzzy matrix and neutrosophic matrix and the resultant vector is determined by applying plithogenic fuzzy operators and plithogenic neutrosophic operators respectively. The obtained results are highly feasible in making the decision as it incorporates the contradiction degree of the conceptual nodes with respect to the dominant node. This research work will certainly pave the way for developing new approaches in decision making using PCM

Decision making (DM) is a process of choosing the optimal alternative with the maximum extent of criteria satisfaction. The challenging aspect in making optimal decisions is the suitable choice of multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) methods that consider the initial input as the expert’s opinion on criteria satisfaction by the alternatives. This initial decision-making matrix representation discriminates MCDM as fuzzy, intuitionistic, neutrosophic to handle the decision-making environment that is characterized by uncertainty, impreciseness, and indeterminacy, respectively. A generalized kind of representation by plithogenic sets optimizes the decision-making risks. This chapter aims in developing SWARA-TOPSIS with plithogenic representations and discusses the efficiency of this integrated approach over the method of TOPSIS with equal criterion weight. A comparative analysis of four different normalization techniques is likewise made. The proposed plithogenic integrated MCDM model is validated with the decision making on four food processing methods. The final ranks of the alternatives are also compared under the proposed plithogenic SWARA-TOPSIS and TOPSIS models with different normalization techniques. The results witness the efficiency of the proposed model over the existing models

Causative Factors of Gestational Diabetics in Women – An analysis on the consequential impacts using LASFCM

Pregnancy is the typical stage in every life cycle of woman where many biochemical and physiological changes take place in all the systems. The adaptation of these changes by the human body differs from one individual to another and it may result in many threats. Gestational Diabetics (GD) is one of the serious threats faced by women during pregnancy. The outbreak of GD is the resultant of several factors which are categorized as genetic, environmental, social and behavioural. The mitigation of this diabetic condition is very essential as it affects the foetus and the mother. The consequential impacts of the factors of GD have to be determined to initiate the preventive measures and to devise the curative medications in accordance to it. This paper introduces the concept of linguistic average super fuzzy cognitive map (LASFCM) which makes use of experts' opinion in terms of linguistic variables to find the substantial outbreak of GD

Plithogenic sets coined by Smarandache in the year 2018 has unveiled new research opportunities in the field of Multi criteria decision making (MCDM). The contributions and developments of new decision making approaches based on plithogeny is gaining high momentum presently. The theoretical conceptualization of different phenomenon with plithogenic sets are also applied in designing optimal solutions to the decision making problems. This review paper presents the applications of plithogenic MCDM from the year 2018 to till date in almost all the spheres of decision making scenario. The literature works of the researchers presented in this paper will certainly portray the compatibility and flexibility of plithogenic sets, operators and other decision making tools. Though the time span considered for counting on the plithogeny based works is short, the applications of plithogenic sets are growing many in number and also plithogeny based theories are amplifying in a speedy manner. This has motivated the authors to investigate on the proliferation of plithogeny applications in decision making. This review paper has focused on the dimensions of different fields to which plithogeny is applied, new plithogeny based theories, extension of plithogeny, plithogenic based operators and measures. In addition to it the data on the publications of plithogeny based articles and interests of researchers are also presented as a part of this review work. The overall impact of plithogeny in the arena of decision making science and on the researchers of the same field is well sketched in this paper with the intention and hope of inspiring plithogenic researchers

The theory of Plithogeny is gaining momentum in recent times as it generalizes the concepts of fuzzy, intuitionistic, neutrosophy and other extended representations of fuzzy sets. The relativity of the comprehensive and accommodative nature of plithogenic sets in dealing with attributes shall be applied to handle the decision–making problems in the field of sociology.  This paper introduces the concepts of Plithogenic Sociogram (PS) and Plithogenic Number (PN) where the former is the integration of plithogeny to the sociometric technique of sociogram and the latter is the generalization of fuzzy, intuitionistic and neutrosophic numbers that shall be used in representations of preferences in group dynamics. This research work outlines the conceptual development of these two newly proposed concepts and discusses the merits of the existing theory of similar kind with suitable substantiation. The plithogenic sociogram model encompassing the attributive preferences with plithogenic number representation is also developed to explicate how it can be materialized in the real social field. A conjectural illustration is put forth to analyze the efficiency and the feasibility of the proposed plithogenic sociogram model and its function in decision-making. This paper also throws light on generalized plithogenic number, dominant attribute constrained plithogenic number and combined dominant attribute constrained plithogenic number together with its operations and suitable illustrations

The automobile industries across the world of this present age are streamlining the manufacture of battery electric vehicles (BEV) as a step towards creating pollution free environment. BEVs are used as an alternate strategy to alleviate the carbon emission at global level. As environmental conservation is one of the long standing sustainable 1f ?developmental goals it is the need of the hour to make a paradigm shift from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources, at the same time this also gives rise to a decision-making problem on making optimal choice of the electric vehicles. In this paper a decision making problem based on ten alternative BEVs and eleven criteria is considered from the earlier works of Faith Ecer. The new ranking method of multi-criteria decision making MCRAT(Multiple Criteria Ranking by Alternative Trace) is used together with three different criterion weight computing methods of AHP(Analytical Hierarchy Process) ,CRITIC (CRiteria Importance Through Intercriteria Correlation) & MEREC (MEthod based on the Removal Effects of Criteria). The results obtained are compared and validated using random forest machine learning algorithm. This research work conjoins multi-criteria decision making methods and machine learning algorithms to make optimal decisions on Battery electric vehicles and this integrated approach yields optimal ranking results and it will certainly create new rooms in decision-making approaches in coming days

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) plays a vital role in forecasting weather. Since India, basically an agricultural nation which purely depends on monsoons, the prediction of future happenings such as rainfall, extreme coolness, hotness, disasters such as flood, storm, strong wind blow and so on are very much important in long term planning. But the prediction of weather fails many a times in India which makes us to compare with the developed countries such as USA, Japan and other western nations where the accuracy of weather prediction is very high. The factors contributing to the shortcomings of IMD must be analyzed for suggesting better ideas and tactics for which, this research article is a step towards it. In this paper Neutrosophic Fuzzy weighted multi expert artificial neural network system is employed which is an inventive and distinct approach from the earlier ones
